They are introduced to the hierarchy of HANDS, with the names of various Indian Armed Forces ranks across the Army, Navy, and Air Force. Exhibits detail gallantry awards, medals, and stories of valor that helped shape India’s military narrative. A very interactive experience is the live trench bunker. Here, battlefield conditions have been recreated to help you understand what all the troops had to face in places like the epic Battle of Longewala. Instead of a simple reading of war, visitors are embedded in an environment that incites thought and reaction.
It also has a specific DRDO gallery featuring the defense research done in India. Most citizens know about the soldiers on the front lines, but little about aspirant scientists, aspiring engineers, or researchers behind the struggles. The museum plays an important role in educating the public about national defence by showcasing DRDO’s various contributions. Another highlight is the sound and light show focused on Operation Vijay and the Kargil War. Visitors are told tales, anecdotes and visual narratives as they walk the walls of this memorial and remember why Indian soldiers laid down their lives on battlefields like Kargil — under heroes such as Captain Vikram Batra, whose immortal words, “Dil Maange More,” inspire our angels to keep reaching for the stars.
The feature not only zeroes in on the Trishul Defence War Memorial as a major milestone but also draws from some of Patel’s administrative successes as Municipal Commissioner. Amongst the most remarkable results was a staggering improvement that took the city’s national cleanliness ranking to new heights; Moradabad went from 436th place in these rankings to among India’s best! But systematic reforms, a proactive citizenry, effective waste management practices, and hard work led this city from rank 131 to rank 10.
